Spicing up the quinoa & broccoli

Quinoa and broccoli are probably staples at your house, too, right?  Lately I’m bo-ored with them.  Here’s how I tried them last night:

Garlic, Basil & Parmesan Quinoa

I threw this together with a quick oven-cooked salmon, using Grandma June’s classic salmon recipe {which, if you know Grandma June might make you raise an eyebrow — she’s not that grandma who bakes cookies and bread}.  The recipe goes as follows:

  • Put salmon on a cookie sheet.
  • Slather it with mayo.
  • Sprinkle Johnny’s Seasoning on it.
  • Bake.

But I tell you what:  it’s delicious.
